Folk musicians visited Pannonhalma
On 4 November, the teachers and students of the Folk Music Department, Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Pázmány Péter Catholic University visited the Archabbey. All of them were folk musicians. In the Archives, the guests could see documents of the history of liturgy and music from the 15th-18th centuries besides mediaeval charters. In addition to the relics seen in the Archives, they were introduced to the treasures of the Library and the Museum, and they were involved in a special guided tour in the Basilica where they joined the Midday Office. The visit was concluded with tasting in the wine-cellars.
